How does the WiFi Calling plan actually work?+

You install an app on your smartphone. Using your WiFi or mobile data connection, the app lets you make and receive calls to and from the US and Canada using your same phone number. If you are not connected, callers can leave a voicemail and we will email it to you as an audio file. Text messages are also forwarded to your email.

Can I keep my existing US or Canadian number?+

Yes. If your number is portable, we can transfer it to our system so you keep the same number you have always had. Check portability here.

Can I use my number in multiple countries?+

Yes. As long as you have WiFi or mobile data, your number works the same way no matter where you are. Whether you are in Europe, Asia, or anywhere else in the world, you can make and receive calls just like you never left.

What happens if I lose internet connection?+
